There is a way to override the code, however you need the code number. The only other way is to sit in car with door shut, play with the central locking button on dash, locking and unlocking. While doing this occassionally turn the ignition on and off. If you do it long enough, you may find the immobiliser light goes out, if it does, quickly start the car.

It could be the key aerial, located around the ignition barrel or a bad Immobilizer.
Try replacing the aerial, if you take the lower dash cover off (near pedals) you will find the immobilizer box bolted near the brake pedal.
Remove this and look at the plug going into the box. You should have two blue wires with 12v at both with ignition on. Check to see if you have 12 Volts on both and just a faulty connection to the immobilizer.
Three wires remain, two from the aerial around the ignition barrel and black which should be the ground wire.
Good luck and hope this helps. Oh and i believe you can not just turn off the immobilizer, sorry.

If, when you switch the ignition on, you get a dash light on, the symbol is a car with a key overlaid, you have somehow activated the immobilser You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, this may reset the immobiliser, If this does not work you will have to contact a Hyundai dealer to get the immobiliser unlock code.

did you try the spare key? are you sure it is an immobilizer light? what does the warning light look like, can you describe it? replacing the battery in the key will not help as it is not needed for the recognition of the key(this is done by an induced current).

Radio code has no bearing on the immobiliser at all.
Normally it is down to the key not recognised. Are you using the same / usual key as before? If not then try original or another key as it may be the transponder in the key you are using.
If same key or no joy then remove the lower Black plastic steering cowls on the column (normally 3 or 4 screws) you will expose the barrell assy, on the end of this you'll see the transponder pick up ring. Disconnect from loom, apply silicone grease to pins and reconnect then try starting.
If still no joy, disconnect positive terminal off the battery, touch the lead to an earth point for 2 to 3 seconds to defuse and reset ECU, reconnect and try again.
If still noy joy you will need a garage as special reading equipment is required.
