Hyundai Sonata 2007 have the two variants which are Sonata GLS and Sonata SE. So check out the engine power of the Hyundai Sonata, which are as follows,
=> The Sonata GLS is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 162-hp and 164 lb.-ft of torque at 4,250 rpm.
=> The Sonata SE and Limited are powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine that pumps out 234-hp and 226 lb.-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Gary, Sensor is 3 to 4 inches above the starter motor on the V6
on 2.4 I4 engines the sensor is behind the timing cover if I am remembering correctly. Service manual PDF
The CPS for these motors is located in the front of the engine and the the timing belt cover needs to be removed to gain access. If you need further instructions on removal as well as diagrams, email me at [email protected] and I will send those immediately.
Not possible. The 2005 Sonata came with two different engines - the 2.4 I4 and the 2.7 V6. On the 2.4 I4, the alternator is near the firewall and on the 2.7 V6 it's in the front near the radiator. Neither one is near any motor mounts. The four (4) motor mounts are located on either side of the transmission and at the engine front top and the transmission rear. Something else is in your way, perhaps the right side engine compartment side rail.
It is either a 2.4L 4 cylinder, or a 2.5L V6. I double checked with Hyundai and this is all they show to offer for 1999. If you are still unsure, check how many spark wires you have, 4 or 6, and this will tell you how many cylinders you have. Hope this helps.
did you check the front passenger door. the no. on my Hyundai Matrix is located inside the f ron passenger door right on the top right corner. its worth a try
