You most likely threw the timing off when you changed the timing belt.. Even throwing the timing off 1 tooth can cause it to run very rough.. I would check the timing marks on the belt and make sure they align with the marks on the timing gears. Good luck

I have a 03 kia sorento that i just changed the timing belt and water pump on. It drove fine for about 10 mins but then stalled. After 15 mins it starts, runs for 10 mins, rough again and stalls out.

run fault codes
check for wiring on crank shaft position sensor or cam position sensor/s
it will be something that was affected by the belt replacement procedure

Did you remember to reconnect your Cam Position Sensor after putting it all back together? One tooth off shouldn't have bent a valve (but pressure checking cylinder will answer that). Did you check TDC once the belt is tight?

My saab 9-5 3.0 only starts when you pump pedal then runs rough and dies out changed di cassettes ,fuel pump

Well, also check your fuel filter. Also, when was the timing belt changed last? Make sure there is fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Check compression with compression tester. Other could be the throttle body. Make sure it is not in limp mode.

2000 Toyota Camry did not start on first try - yellow symbol

Hard to say what it is without testing so I 'm gonna give you a list of things you or a repair shop can check out:
SYMPTOM :NO CRANK
Battery, battery cables, ignition switch, neutral safety switch, starter relay, starter.
SYMPTOM: CRANK NO START
MAKE SURE TIMING BELT DIDN'T BREAK OR SKIP A TOOTH,STARTER current draw test , coil, coil pack, ignition module( only if no spark at the plug wires) fuel pump relay, fuel pump, injector module and drives, fuel pressure regulator.

This year Camry is a good year. Very little problems except annoying EVAP system. TIMING BELT SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 60K . ALONG WITH CAM, CRANK, OIL PUMP SEALS AND WATER PUMP.
I recommend taking your car to Sears Auto Center
they are pretty good with this kind of work.

I will try to help you. You are correct about the starting fluid, if it has fire starting fluid should do something. So the problem must be either no fire to the plugs or the timing belt is broke.

Check to see if the plugs have spark. If they do not, then get with the Autoparts store and ask if your car needs a Ignition relay to run. Then ask if your car takes a rubber timing belt. If your car does not have a rubber timing belt try the Ignition relay. If you do have a rubber belt check behind the shield in front of the engine to see if the timing belt is broke.

The timing belt is different than the serpetine belt that drives the pulleys. Cars with rubber timing belts have both belts. Should your timing belt be broken it is not an expensive repair. But you will need to details on replacement of that part.

Fuel problem, wont start

the pump is part of the filter/separator not in the tank no fuel will come out if filter is removed make sure there is fuel in the upper filter if there is the pump is ok it might be an oil pressure concern

Do I change water pump when having timing belt changed

I would go to auto zone and get a diagram and the timing belt and do it yourself and the water pump (no it does not have to be changed everytime the timing belt is changed but if the car has over 60,000miles then it is best to change them both) it is not that hard especially if the car is not out of time just make sure you disconnect the negative side of the battery
