How do I change the air filter on a honda crv 2002

There are five 8 mm bolts and 1 hose that has a clamp on it that need to be removed and then you can pull the top part of the air filter housing up and access the aif filter

What you do is, find your air filter box, open it up and take the old nasty dirty one out. In doing do, its very good to take and clean out the air box as well as you can before putting the new one back in, you dont want dirt to get into your new filter that fast. The box can be found by tracing the long black tube from the intake to the box. The box should be rather accessible. Make sure you have the correct air filter otherwise you may not have the correct air flow, or it just simply will not fit. Place the new one in the air box, close it all up and there you go, you just changed your air filter. Hope this helps!
