I had the very same problem and the only way to reset 2002 Camry's is to take it to the dealer. The dealer has to completely reprogram the computer. This is a flaw in that model year.

IF IT WILL START UP EVERY TIME YOU JUMP IT OFF, YOU EITHER HAVE A BAD BATTERY, OR ALTENATOR,OR BOTH ,BUT IF YOU TURN IT OFF AND JUMPING IT OFF DOESN'T CRANK IT BACK THEN I WOULD SUGGEST ONLY LETTING A DEALER RESET IT & OR CHECK IT OUT .

2002 Toyota Solara V6. Engine froze from all water, no coolant. The battery is run dead cranking engine once thawed, now cranks but no fuel at purge fuel pressure access.

That's not good! Water is coolant, but you mean antifreeze. Did it push out the freeze plugs? Any cracks in the block or cylinder head?

If the battery went completely flat or you removed it for charging, you will need to reset the security system and immobilizer. The immobilizer is not giving you fuel.

My 1996 Toyota Camry will not start after I changed the battery. I have put two different batteries and when I turn the key nothing just the internal dash lights go on.

Number 1 tip when changing batteries. Maintain power to the system using wires, jump leads, a battery charger or even a MN1500 - 9 volt battery. You need to reset the security system.

2002 camry starter turns over then starts clicking

Low battery charge/ faulty battery, worn starter motor brushes. Try jump start it with another car. If it starts, replace battery. if not, it's your starter motor.

2002 Toyota camry i press the accelerator down and get nothing

Have someone clear codes and reset all adaptives and then see if its fixed. If not then youll need an ECU(computer). Hooking the cables up wrong will spike the computer and fry one or more quad drivers in the ECU.

I have a 1995 toyota camry and would not start without a jump. When jumped it runs fine (let it run for over an hour)but when turn the car off and go to restart the car it will not start again....had...

possible but the clue to the problem is the check results--diode bridge bad
That is telling you that the rectifier in the alternator is not working and the battery is getting AC current which means power in to the battery same power out of the battery
Logically that instead of ignoring the reading you should have gone to an accredited auto electrician and had the problem fixed

2002 camry wont start, has a new battery. the lights dim on dash when trying to crank. tried tapping starter, the car cranked, but once car is turned off, it would not crank without tapping starter

In all probability, your starter is drawing too much current and needs to be replaced. If you can get the car to a commercial auto parts store, they can test the load draw (there is usually no charge) to see if this is your issue.

2007 camry will not accelerate after jump off from a dead battery.

The jump off was not the problem, the dead battery was the reason for the computer to loose memory,if driving it for about 15 to 20 miles does not fix the problem, the the dealer will have to re flash the ecm.

If you have a 2002 Camry with a P0420, go see the dealer. there is service bulletin EG024-04 which replaces the exhaust manifold (cat converter) and flashes the computer. Warranteed up to 80,000 miles and 96 months
