I have the same van and it could b a wheel sensor that could cause it or the connectors, anything that is attached to the abs malfunctions then it triggers the awd disabled on the dash, from what I'm told anyways, still have the issue but it's better on gas with it disabled and is fine in the snow around here so I haven't been to concerned about it

Disable anti theft ignition lock 2005 Buick rendezvous ultra

With a master PASS-Key III key, turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

IMPORTANT:

This procedure is not available on vehicles equipped with option code (Z49).
If replacing a BCM with an GM SPO replacement part, perform the procedure to setup a new BCM prior to the 30-Minute Relearn Procedure.

Observe the STARTING DISABLED DUE TO THEFT message on the driver information center (DIC), after approximately 10 minutes the STARTING DISABLED DUE TO THEFT message on the DIC will turn off.
Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .
Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes .
With a master PASS-Key III key, start the vehicle. The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information and the PCM has now learned the fuel continue password.

IMPORTANT: The vehicle learns the key transponder information and/or passwords on the ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

2005 buick terraza stereo loses audio(but has power and lights up)unless turning to the right, then it has audio until you straighten the wheel again.then it cuts out again

You will need to replace the clockspring coiled contact drum under the steering wheel. Be sure to disable the Airbag system before starting any work as the steering wheel of course must be removed.

Well I would post a solution but I feel like "fixya" should pay me for telling them. It kind of bothered me that I was going to have to pay for assistance. Usually someone will look at your vehicle for free just to figure out the problem.

I had a similiar problem. My car would actually pull to the left it was so bad. I took it to the dealer several times and they could not fix it. Turn out they where simply driving the car around the auto mall circle a couple of times. My wife took them on a 30 mile trip when it finally happened with a service tech in the car. The guy freaked out and had my wife take the car rite back and the service center took possession of the car and gave her a free rental even though the car was not under warranty. Turns out it was a faulty computer brake module, when it goes bad it ingages the traction control/stability control system when it is not needed. Not sure if this is your problem but it is something to think about.

Vibration in steering column

if your vibration comes and goes with different speeds, most likely problem is balance in tires/wheels. a bent wheel often vibrates more with higher speeds. if the vibration is stong in the steering wheel, the problem is normally in the front end, if you feel in more in the seat or body of the car then look to the rear end.
