There is two connectors that plug into the stock radio, one is white and one is black,if someone has cut yours off,the best thing you could do is visit a local salvage yard and tell them you need the two radio connectors ,tell them when they cut them out to leave you about four inches of wire from each connector.
then take them home and your color codes are all there and the same.

How to connect to 12V ignition in a Jeep Compass 2010 when installing a car stereo?

Hi, you can do this an easier way.

but a test Light from your local parts store. Usually under 8 dollars. Figure out which wire is "power" coming in. Splice that red wire into the power wire and you'll be good to go. Also, you can snip off that "connector" and just tie the wires together and use a But Connector to crimp them together.

GOod luck. let me know if you need more help.

What could be causing my 2009 Jeep Wrangler to "miss", especially at lower rpm's?

Use a scan tool to be sure that there is no issue with the check engine light. If you get a scan tool that shows error codes in the 300 range then it is a misfire. Some causes of this are low fuel pressure, bad coils, etc.

check or relace your coil pack due to the fact that when a coil pack is going bad it usually looses its umph. when it get hot and that would explain random miss fires

I have a 1997 jeep grand cherkee 4.0 with miss fire after water p

you will need to check the codes and see exactly what cylinder is misfiring, this maybe caused due to a vacuum leak or bad wires or if it has a coil then a bad coil boot, this may not have anything to do with the waterpump job, or might,if you could pinpoint which cylinder it was, then this would help pin point the problem, check around for vacuum leaks, or any connections left loose ,start with that,

I need a wiring color code for 2004 nissan sentra factory stereo.

I have the same car...04 nissan sentra....with the exact same problem....left side speakers just quit working. I still do not know what caused the problem, or how to fix it. I know it not the wiring, it is a defect within the stereo.

My check engine light blinks 12 times

not sure about the 12 times one but i know the blinking then staying on and missing then shut it off and changing the sensor and it running ok when you start it.... thats because your catalitic converter is cloged, usually from miss fires or bad/old plugs/wires you need to replace your cat cause its beyond repair and make sure to change your plugs and wires (and i would do my fuel filter and air filter while i was at it if it were me) or else you will have the same problem right around the corner. I know this due to the fact it happened to both my parents cars and when i bought my truck with 103000 miles the guy before me NEVER changed his stuff, (supposed to do plugs and wires at 12000 mile intervales) and it was all factory, Hope this helps.
