Yes as said earlierthe dimmer can be turned down. secondly check for the ground connection of the dash circuit. Test using a multimeter /voltmeter for the +12 or use a dash lamp with one side grounded as the test lamp to trace the missing +12.
hi i got a 1990 dodge daytona shelby if you look under the dash on the driver side in the far back left hand side and kinda look up there should be about 14 relays there you well need a flash light trust me i have no clue what one is it hope it help keep that daytona runing it a good car o make sure that wiper motor is not short out
Check your steering column. There is a switch that cancels the turn signals in there. If it's bad, your signals will act funny and this also affects the hazard switch. Banging on the dash is what triggers the signals to work as the vibration goes into the steering column also. You might also want to check the fuses, relay switch, located inside the the left fender next to the steering column. Sometimes, the radio and the turn signals will go funky at the same time. Make sure your radio is grounded.
Hope this helps.

You have a poor battery connection. Ck the negative battery cable both ends. Especially remove and clean the battery end. Might as well ck yhe + cable at the same time. This will also affect the battery charging.
Check your fuses for wipers and lights. If good use a volt meter and check power at the fuse. If your wipers, radio and dash lights worked before you changed the nuetral safety switch I would retrace my steps and make sure I didn't leave something disconnected. It happens a lot. Let me know what you find.
i had this problem , all you need to do is hook the ground wire from your new radio to the braided wire that hooked on your old radio and insert a bolt in the hole and tightin ,then check fuses and your dash lights will work and dome light.
