some fans only turn on, at 220F (104C) or more, you do know that correct? staying off saves FUEL, (and by laws now on low carbon)

no VW dealers near by, if yes, near ask them for the manual.
id never buy any car not in my town. after all vast parts are only sold by them.

because of the costs/time involved,i would recommend you sell the car in the uk and buy another in eurozone.(why do you think a lot of lhd cars in the uk, stay that way???)
