If you know where the automatic transmission dipstick is, under the hood close to the firewall, (where you check your fluid), this is also where you add fluid. You will need a funnel with a small discharge end to fit into the dipstick tube. Good Luck. i hope this is very helpful!

How do I add transmission fluid to a 97 rodeo

Add fluid at the tube where the dipstick for the tranny is, never add fluid to a cold transmission, it must be hot, never overfill, a little low on hash marks is good.

How to check my transmission fluid on a manual chevy 1500 v6

There should be a plug in the side of the transmission you take out to check the fluid level. The fluid should be near that plug. That is also where you add fluid if it is low.

ITS A SOMEWHAT COMMON PROBLEM KNOWN AS "MORNING SICKNESS" MOST COMMON IN CARS THAT TEND TO SIT A LOT. IN MOST CASES THE ONLY WAY TO FIX IT IS HAVE THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT HOWEVER SOMETIMES YOU CAN CHANGE THE FLUID AND ADD A LITTLE BIT OF BRAKE FLUID TO THE TRANSMISSION FLUID LIKE LESS THAN A 1/4 CUP IF YOU ADD WAY TO MUCH IT WILL MESS UP THE TRANSMISSION WORSE THERE ARE ALSO SOME "REMIDIES" IN A BOTTLE YOU CAN GET AT YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE THEY ARE FLUID ADDITIVES

Automatic Transmission 97 metro

Hi:
Specifically, you remove the transmission dipstick and use a narrow funnel to pour transmission fluid in the transmission till it is full. Remember to check your fluid level after the transmission is warmed up, and the car is running, gearshift in Park.

The type best used is "Genuine Subaru Automatic Transmission Fluid Type-HP or IDEMITSU ATF HP. you add it through the dip stick hole. You may also wish to add a transmission leak oil to swell the gaskets and stop the leak add it the same way if you choose to use it. both of these should be available at your local auto parts store like NAPA. First thing to do is make sure your transmission is full of fluid. While you have the dipstick out check the oil for color and smell BEFORE you add fluid. If the fluid is a brownish color instead of pink or it has a burnt smellyour best bet will probably be a trip to the junk yard. If the fluid seems okay you can try changing the fluid and filter. When you do add a bottle of Lucas transmission with your oil .It helps. My guess is that you are probably headed to the junk yard. If you do make sure the replacement is the same length as yours or you will be rebuiding a driveshaft. I have gotten away with it being an inch shorter but that is pushing it. Good luck.
