Ck the 30amp Fuel Inj fuse. Is the fuel pump running? Thats the first thing to verify. At the relay the RED/BLUE wire goes to the pump. The relay is up under the drivers side of the dash. It wil have 2 WHITE/BLUE wires (power) , RED/WHITE (ground ,ecm grounds the relay) and the RED/BLUE powers the pump.

Hi:
A good place to start is to replace the fuel filter, if you have not done so in a while. When you get ready to replace the filter, see if there is fuel pressure when you disconnect the lines. That will tell you if the fuel pump is working. While the filter is off, put the fuel line that comes from the tank into a container, and turn on your ignition, and see if the pump runs for a few seconds. You can also take off the gas cap, and have someone listen for the sound of the pump running when you turn on the key. If you have no pressure, and the pump doesn't run, you could have a bad fuel pump, or relay.

Check for vacuum leaks with a can of carb cleaner engine running - when engine race up or bogs down there is a leak. Spray all around intake, vacuum hoses, brake booster, and throttle body.

Durango starts sometimes. then acts like its getting no gas and dies. if i stomp on gas it will keep running till i let off. bad gas ? fuel filter ? fuel pump?

I would suggest starting with the less expensive solutions first. If you pull the air intake hose off the throttle body and open the throttle with the engine off look down inside if it is black try spraying it out with throttle body cleaner make sure to spray it out good. Afterwards start it you may have to keep your foot on the gas for a few minutes to make sure it doesn't stall then take your foot off the gas pedal and see if it stays running if it does your throttle body just needed cleaned. Note do not use carb cleaner use throttle body cleaner only, carb cleaner can damage the sensor in your throttle body.

The blazer is a 4.3 vortech. the fuel is going into the fuel rail but is failing getting in the throttle body. so what could be the problem

Fuel does not go into the throttle body on that engine. nThe throttle body is for air intake only. Fuel goes to six individule injectors via the fuel rail. Check for correct fuel pressure at the shchrader valve on the fuel rail. Correct pressure is 55 to 61 PSI. Anything less indicates a bad pump and possible dirty fuel filter.

Where is the throttle body on a 96 maxima... and what do I need to access. My car sometime cutt-off while idling and sometime cuts out while driving like its getting no gas. I already changed my fuel...

The throttle body is where the carburetor used to be, in the middle top of the intake manifold where the air intake tube ends.
Use a major brand "Fuel throttle body cleaner" in your gas tank every 6 months or so. Don't use store brand. Ther eis also a spray for the linkage, etc. Use that too... and spray into the throttle body with engine running. Don't let the engine die while spraying into the throttle body.
