I have a 2005 GMC Yukon XL and my heater only blows out cool air it will not blow hot air. Also the heated seat on the driver side does not work.

Your heater problem is more than likely a bad temp door motor.The seat heater problem is probably one of your elements.Either back or bottom.If your switch light is coming on then the element is bad.

2002 gmc yukon xl rear heat blows heat front blows cold air

Try to back wash the heater core first if it doesnt work then its clogged up try to turn the heater on the front with the heater off for the back keep an eye on the temp guage if it goes up than normal then its clogged....

Fyi u have to run the engine for awhile with the heater fan on

Heater not working good will blow cold air then hot. low coolant light comes on.

I had same problem on my 2001 gmc yukon. I found leak under my water pump. I replaced it myself and the problem was cured. heater wont work because there is not enough water to be heated for the heater.

you have a couple of problems first of all your drivers sd=ide heated heat pad is probably faulty, for your heating problem you may have to get the hvac doors recalibrated.

diverter is out of position for that specif duct. It may just be stuck. If vacuum controlled, make sure hose is in place and there is vacuum present Good luck _Ned_

Turn the car off Crank the car turn ac on drivers side to 60 passenger side to 90 press auto wait 1 minute turn AC off (very important) turn car off turn car back on switch driver's side 90 passenger 60 press auto wait one minute turn AC off( very important) turn car off turn car on AC 70 both sides press auto your ac should be blowing cold If not, you have an expensive problem
