If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio (some people say that they find the code on a sticker in the glove compartment, but I wouldn't count on that). Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release. The number will come up in two sets)
Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.
Hope this helps you.

There might be a sticker on the inside of the glove box or under the fuse box cover. If there is not one there with your radio code, you could log on to radio-code.com. You can get your radio code there for a small fee of $12.00 which is better them the dealer and you get to keep the code. Good luck and hope the code is in your glove box.

How to reset a radio code

Usually this happens when the battery has been disconnected or replaced. Or it's a replacement Honda radio. The Honda radio requires a 5 digit code to reset. You will need the serial number of the radio. You may need to remove the radio to get that info. Take a cellphone picture of the serial # to have it handy. Once you have the number, call your local Honda dealer and ask for the parts department. They should be able to get you the code for the radio based on the serial #. if not, you may need to take the car in for them to get you the code .

I need a code number of radio Honda Accord 1998 serial no.M97A189067

Nobody is supposed to have the complete database of codes, only authorised dealers. As a security measure, any time the battery is disconnected, the radio is Locked Out, and will not function until the security code is entered on the radio itself. Furthermore, after 3 tries, it wont even accept the code on the radio display, showing the ERR condition. Check for a sticker with the radio code inside the glove box. Some dealers fixed a second sticker in the owners manual. If not available, get the code from a Honda dealer, and be prepared to show VIN number, and proof of vehicle ownership. When you get hold of the code, disconnect the battery for 15 min. This will erase the ERR condition, and allow you to introduce the reactivation code.

I have reconnected battery while replacing the head lamp for 2006 Honda accord EX V6. I have VIN number and radio sl. number. However, i don't have the code. Honda website wants the phone number or e-mail...

Take your title and registration to a Honda dealership, along with the radio serial and they can give you the code. The reg. and title is to prove you currently own the vehicle.

Radio is locked after battery disconnected

Look around for a small label with a 5 digit number on it. Look inside the glove box and console. You will need the 5 digit code to unlock the radio. To get the code you will need the serial # of the radio. In order to get the serial # it is necessary that you remove the radio from the dash or at least remove enough of the dash so you can see the serial #. The serial # is located on top of the radio chassis. Numbers that start with M1C, M3G, M46, & YEFM are not the serial #. Look for another number on the chassis. Now with the serial # and the VIN number off the car go to the Honda Owners Link and register your Honda. You will be able to get the code there for free, but you must have the VIN and Serial #. https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=%2Fprod%5Fhome%2Easp

Need radio code for 2007 honda accord serial HCZ22036435 had to disconnect battery to replace head lamp

HONDA do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto
radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc).

First try https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
If so , then if the above suggestion is not successful ,then unfortunately the code will not be available for free (or cheap ) from anywhere on the Internet.

How can I program my 2006/7 Honda accord radio, lost memory after removing the battery and replacing new one.

Your car’s audio system will disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code in the Preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.
You should have received a card with your manual (if you have one) that lists your audio system’s code number and serial number. If you don't have the card, you can get the code number from your Honda dealer, but to do this, you will need the system’s serial number.
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ‘‘Code’’ in the frequency display the next time you turn on the system. Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
Hope this is helpful.

I need code for my 2005 honda accord radio

Check owners manual, made written on inside of covers or on radio pages.  IF not check inside of glovebox for four digit code.  If not luck, remove radio document all number, ie serial number on unit and call local honda dealer.  They must run the VIN and radio info back to the motherland to get lock code.
