It is wher the engine meets the transmission..on the flywheel...and the oxygen sensors bank 1 is the one before the catalyst....and bank 2 is the one after the catalyst....

yes...once you check the codes with an OBDII scanrer it will tel you wich banks, either left or right....so right side bank one will be the o2sensor on the rigt side of the vehicle before the catalyst...

and right side bank 2 will be on the right side aft of the catalyst....got it....so check for codes with an OBDII scanner....in autozone or advance autoparts...you can borrow one and get the codes....

    hope this clarification helps...

2002 nissan sentra gxe 1.8 bank2 sensor1 federal emission.Which sensor do I replace?Top/bottom,driver/pass side?

The 1.8 is a 4 cyl. engine . it has only 2 oxygen sensors . Nissan engine controll systems devides its EGO sensors into banks . Bank 1 is the upstream (top before the catylyctic converter) . Bank 2 is the downstream (after the cat. conv.) I recomend you change both for emissions reasons

Can't find the location for the crankshaft position sensor

you need a haynes manual . because crank sensor can be behind crank pulley or on bottom side of engine that why you need a manual save you time.
