I have a 96 chevrolet blazer and I have problem to star it just crank, to be able to start the blazer I have to put gas in the carburator and then work just fine I don't think is the gas pump.

Turn key to on position but don't crank engine over. Turn key to off position. Repeat 5 times .Crank over engine.

How about the fuel pump...are you getting the fuel to the cylinders? Is the fuel making it through the fuel line through the fuel filter? Drop a few drops in 1 cylinder, if it fires, you have a fuel problem. Does it turn over? If not check out the motor starter!

It sounds to me that your control module is bad It is located on the left side facing the engine on top of the intake

if no fire with hot battery , i would start with your coil . good luck

the fuel pump motor is lubricated by the gas in your tank
when you ran out it sounds like the fuel pump motor seized and is stuck there.There is a little known thing that will get the pump unstuck if it's not burnt up .
take a hammer,yep a hammer,
have someone hit the bottom of the gas tank while someone cranks the engine,don't be afraid to hit it hard you want the fuel pump to feel the hit and loosen up,make sure your tapping the tank and not the metal strap that holds the tank up! That should get you going,

well that is not a carb but a fuel injection throttle body. have you changed the fuel filter? also check for any codes in the computer by having it scanned. this will help in diagnosing the problem.give me a shout back thanks

Your temp gauge is wrong, check your fuel filter, may be clogged up, then I would say there is a system leakdown in the fuel system. You may have a pump going bad in the fuel tank.

Could be several things but here are the known culprits:

1. Clogged or worn Fuel Filter
2. Clogged fuel line or injector(s) or throttle body.
3. Worn or dying fuel pump.
4. IAC valve may be bad and needs to be replaced.

if it's carburated, make sure your butterflies are opening.
