Ahhh... the ultimae "bug" kwirk. heres how it goes

Theres a lever on the side of the housing you must turn. but to turn it you have to push the lock in. then the entire headlight housing will slid out the front of the car. Then unplug the wiring and remove the plactic backing. replace the headlight and re-assemble your bug :)

In order to clean the inside of the lens on a 99 chevy I had to remove the whole head light assembly from the car, pull out the bulbs, and insert cleaning and drying tools through the bulb holes in order to get the constant build up of water out of them.

Need to change a tail light bulb left sideon a 2000 vw bettle
Unscrew the knob behined the light in the Boot / Trunk and the use a small screwdriver on the OUTSIDE of the light on the right handside as you look at the light in the middle on the outside. You will feel a little spring clip and as you push gently the light will pullout forward.

very easy if you look at it you have 2 slider take a screw driver lift it up the slider have are bent on top they lock the lends in place after lifting the slider pull the light it should come of install bulb reinstall the light push the slider down that it good lucl pierre
