Hi, please replace window glass motor system.

your cable to raise the window is broken, you will have to replace the cable and maybe the motor

Replace The Window Regulator !!

VW was fixing this issue free a while ago, you should check with them. the glass pulls out of the window rail clamps.

Either the window fell off the track or the motor is faulty. You will most likely have to remove the screws and then pry off the door panel to access the window, frame, and motor

Had the same thing happen to my 98 GT. It is the cable for the power window motor. Replaced the whole unit was pretty easy. Got the motor on ebay for around $50

pull up window by hand and tape up for now if it is cold ddo you hear the motor sounds like the regulator/motor need replacement what happens is the cable breaks and the cable is attached to the motor so you cant just by the cables you need to buy the whole reg/motor assy/ got to a auto body shop instead of mechanical repair shop less expensive Please rate my response thank you very muvh

There is a little plastic type of bracket that the glass for this window is mounted on to, its probably broken and the window fell off the track. Therefor the motoring working but can't roll the window up. You make nedd the complete window regulator assembly. Good Luck

You fist have to take the rear door panel off to see if the window fell of the track. If it has electric windows determine if the moto is running.
