Installed new headlights assemblys, everything worked fine on the old ones before replacement but replaced due to foggy lenses. Now the new headlamp Turn signals dont work and tail light turn signals go 1000 mph. Whats up?
Apply the parking brake and open the hood. The head is attached by thumb shaped screw. You will see the thumb screw on the upper inboard corner of the turn signal assembly Remove the screw with the screwdriver.Pull the turn signal assembly outward away from the fender and then disconnect the bulb.Turning the socket and wire 1/4- counterclockwise. Set the turn signal assembly aside.Disconnect the electrical connector plug from the headlight being replaced. Lift up on the blue retaining clip of the plug and pull it away from the socket of the headlight.Turn the black retaining collar of the headlight counterclockwise to remove it and the headlight from the headlight assembly.Install the new headlight by reversing the procedure.Replace the turn signal bulb into its assembly and reinstall the assembly and thumbscrew.
Thanks.Helpmech.

I'm having a similar problem with my 98 Ford F150 truck. I replaced my headlights due to foggy lenses as well and since then, my rear turning signal, tail lights and brake lights do not work and my gas gauge isn't working properly and my ABS light is on. All the lights on my cab are working but none are working on my bed.
