P0500 stands for vehicle speed sensor malfunction P0174 stands for System to lean (Bank 2) so you proably arent getting enough fuel or spark P1131 = Insufficient Switching O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1 Sensor/Lean
A possible culprit could be your O2 sensor (Oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifod or piping). These are usually good for about 80K to 100K miles. When they fail or start to deviate too far from their baseline readings they can cause the check engine light to come on. Driving on the highway at higher speeds would result in higher exhaust temperatures than typically are encountered during in- town driving so this could explain why it only occurs on at higher speeds (which equal higher engine loads of course). You could buy an engine code checker or take it to a shop and have them read the error codes for you to narrow it down and/or confirm my O2 sensor idea.
what engine is in the vehicle now or which engine came with it? if you dont kow give me the vin # and i can tell what your suppose to have. your best and easiest bet is to put back the factory engine you can upgrade to the dohc 2.5 6cyl eng with little trouble, but the engine bays on these things are tight as it is. not sure what you plan on using the car for neither? you might be better off having the one that is in therer r and r'd. might be best way to go. let me know and ill help you the best i can.
