It might be the map sensor,or mapp sensor, witch ever this model has, have a code reader read the codes ,it will narrow it down,If it is fuel, not being burned, then it should be black smoke.

When the engine air filter is lights will the car smoke white

White smoke is oil burning off. Try manually cleaning the filter with compressed air or at least tap it on the floor or bench to knock down the amount of dirt in it. Back to your question, not likely. Try to smell the smoke, if it smells like oil or if it smells like antifreeze.

Mitsibushi pajero oil light time

White SWEET smelling smoke, or white OILY smelling smoke? If it's white thick SWEET smelling smoke, you have a blown head gasket - that's the smell of antifreeze burning in the engine, which it should NEVER do. If it's white OILY smelling smoke (smells a lot like diesel), then you're getting too much fuel into the cylinders.

If it's sweet-smelling smoke (antifreeze), pull the oil dipstick & check the oil level. If the oil level is HIGH and the oil looks like a mocha milkshake, that's absolutely conclusive - that's what happens when antifreeze gets into your oil, and it's nasty corrosive to engine parts.

I'm not at all surprised that the oil light is on if it won't start - you won't get much oil pressure until the engine is running.

2005 3.5l some times smokes oil then stops

Smoke oil? For what your thinking that is oil? Smoke coming from the tailpipe is not good news, but does not necessarily mean the engine needs rebuilding. First, you need to determine what color of smoke is coming from the tailpipe
* White smoke is caused by water and or antifreeze entering the cylinder, and the engine trying to burn it with the fuel. The white smoke is steam. There are special gaskets (head gaskets are the primary gaskets) that keep the antifreeze from entering the cylinder area.
* Blue smoke is caused by engine oil entering the cylinder area and being burned along with the fuel air mixture. As with the white smoke, just a small drop of oil leaking into the cylinder can produce blue smoke out the tailpipe.
* Black smoke is caused by excess fuel that has entered the cylinder area and cannot be burned completely. Another term for excess fuel is "running rich." Poor fuel mileage is also a common complaint when black smoke comes out of the tailpipe. Black smoke out the tailpipe is the least cause for alarm.

If you confirm us that is oil smoke, check and keep in mind that the car has many seals, gaskets, and O-rings that are designed to keep the engine oil from entering the cylinder, and one of them has failed. If too much oil leaks into the cylinder and fouls the spark plug, it will cause a misfire (engine miss) in that cylinder, and the spark plug will have to be replaced or cleaned of the oil. Using thicker weight engine oil or an oil additive designed to reduce oil leaks might help reduce the amount of oil leaking into the cylinder.

Keep us updated.

Chrysler grand voyeger has blue sh smoke coming out of exhaust using more fuel ???

Blue smoke is engine oil burning in the combustion chamber. White smoke would be coolant and black smoke is too much fuel. Try replacing the spark plugs to get better fuel mileage, they are most likely fouled due to oil burning.

Noises an smoke

its kind of hard to say on the whining noise - could just be a belt. Try spray WD40 on your belts when its idling and see if the noise lessens or goes away. If you have smoke coming out of your exhaust you need to determine the color / smell of the smoke. If it is white / light gray colored and "sweet" smelling then you are burning coolant which means you probably have a cracked head gasket. If it appears blueish and is "burnt" smelling then you are burning oil which means you may have a worn seal, gasket, o-ring, etc. If is dark / black colored then your fuel mixture is too rich which could be a bad O2 sensor, fuel pump, or fuel injectors.

My car is blowing smoke and shuddering ef falcon

What color is the smoke ? is it bluish or is it white ?
The blue colored smoke would smell more like burning oil, which would indicate a broken piston ring, ect. the white smoke if it smells of coolant(anti-freeze) would lean toward a head gasket problem.
