I have a 1995 Chevy 2500 6.5 turbo diesel and the blow. So I was wondering if theirs any gas engines that will bolt in its place? thanks D Hawkins

Any smallblock chevy to a bigblock chevy will bolt up. examples I would go with : 350 or a 454 . The 6.5 uses the same transmission bolt pattern as these engines. If it's an automatic the flywhell might still work on the 350 or 454.

Tdci engine

the liklihood isnt hi, most tdci engines are very reliable, as for the intercooler packing up i dont see that happening with normal use, blow by would be the only thing that would really worry you but a car this young wouldnt have issues. i think that you would be happy with the car and if you keep the services up like the previous owner the car will show you no problems :)

3rd turbocharger

on most occasions its the cooling system for them thats at fault, try upgrading the oil coolant rad for the turbo, it might be a bit expencive to start but will probly save you keeping on buying housing for your turbo, or check make sure you do not have a blockage in the oil cooling system, hope this helps
