1)New fuel filter
2)New air filter
3)New spark plugs, properly gapped.
4)One bottle (the red one)of STP fuel treatment. 4 times a year.
At 80000 miles I would also renew the spark plug wires.
At this time you also need to service the transmission. You dont say if its automatic or a manuel shift model. The auto will need the transmission pan remove and a new filter installed, then new fluid to fill.
The manuel needs the oil drained and renewed.

WHEN TO GET A TUNE UP FOR MY 2006 FORD FOCUS IT HAS 62000 MILES AND I BOUGHT IT WHEN IT HAD 45000 MILES

a vehicle needs to be serviced regularly to keep it in good operational condition, most modern vehicles don't need a tune up as such but should be serviced by a qualified mechanic at the intervals specified by the manufacturer (every 6,000 or 10,000 miles}.....hope this helps......cheers.

Car is running alittle sluggish at 62000 miles. No tuneup since buying it new

I would suggest a total tune up including replacement of the timing belt. This should get rid of the sluggishness you are experiencing. The replacement of the timing belt is not the major dilemma that it sounds like - they should be changed periodically to prevent failure and more costly repairs.

How often your I get a tune up and breaks?

Hello.

Regarding the tune-up, you have 'iridium plugs', and the recommended replacement interval is 100,000 miles.

Replacement of the brakes is another issue. How and where you drive, in town or longer runs makes a big difference. Normal driving habits usually call for front brake replacement somewhere around 30-35,000 miles.

The redo maintenace light is on

The maintenance req'd lignt comes on every 5,00 miles to remind you that an oil change is due. It has nothing to do with a tune-up or other scheduled maintenance. It is just an oil change reminder, and needs to be manually reset after the oil is changed.

Servicing cars

You should change your oil & filter every 3 to 5 thousand miles. The more frequently you change the oil, the more life you will get out of the engine. Rotate the tires every other oil change. Replace the air filter every 15 thousand miles. Flush the cooling system and flush the transmission (automatic) every 30 thousand. Change the iridium plugs every 90 thousand. There is no timing belt to worry about, that veh has a timing CHAIN. That is basically it.
