Not all radios of modern vehicles need a code and many are integrated into the vehicle security system. Such radios need to be programmed with a security code or the vehicle vin.

Fitting a used or salvaged radio, for instance, often is more expensive than ordering an exchange radio from the dealer when reprogramming is taken into consideration.

No you can't get a key that will work (start the car) without at least one working key, if you don't have one working key then the dealer must replace the ignition switch and reprogram the system to recognize the new key code. This is very expensive the keys are about $100.00 each. A local locksmith may be able to do this cheaper if they have the proper tools, most don't and tell you to see the dealer.

How do I repair my vehicle's power steeging pump which is leaking thru the back of the pump, I believe is thru the seal?

you replace it, not an owner procedure unless the owner has a shop. buy a replacement pump and pay a local auto repair shop to do it. you do not need to pay dealer shop rates for this .

Sorry, but the key is electronically coded to the car so you'll have to contact your nearest Lexus dealer to order a replacement. Be prepared for a large bill.

How do you replace a lost key for a lexus rx 330

You need to bring the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to a Lexus dealer, where they will check that against a stolen car database, and ensure you receive the correct key. This key usually has an internal transponder-computer chip to match the vehicle. Not inexpensive but there's pretty much no way around this.

it's quite expensive if you get it through the dealer or the lock smith place. however you can order online and it will come with instruction how to program, providing that you still have a master key

it is having trouble reading your key chip. You may need to get a new key thru someone other than dealer. Dealer is WAY too expensive. Check around locally and save some $$.

Your key has a programable security micro chip inside it. It is either and embedded chip or a transferable one in a **** shell type key.
Some dealers may have generic blanks and cut them to code with a laser cutter. If it is a **** shell type key with touch pad buttons, they simply reinstall the touch pad when equipped. If not the new key must be programmed to the cars security system
There are online sites on ebay, including one in Florida who gaurantees his work and genuine parts, but I would strongly recommend against a generic key online.

Yes what I meant in the response above is some dealers as in Lexus Dealerships have the cutting machine and generic key blanks in stock. There was not a company listed on the ebay site I saw. I had the touch pad removed from my old key and installed in a replacement unit for under $100
