If the fuel pump keeps going out, are you using new fuel pumps? Is it a quality fuel pump? Your changing the sock filter and inline filter. The bottom of gas tank is clean. no trash in tank?
My next thought is to do voltage drop test for voltage and ground, at the fuel pump.
If you have spark and fuel it should start. You must have min 57 PSI fuel pressure for this vehicle to start if it is the 4.3 Vortec engine. Also the cam sensor and the crank sensor control the spark. Does it have the check engine light on and if so what is the code or codes does it have? Need more info to help you out more.
check fuel pump for noise also get someone to crank it while you hit the bottom of fuel tank if it start then you found a bad fuel pump located inside fuel tank
It is located in the gas tank, you will need to remove the sending unit at the top fo the tank. To access the sending unit, you will need to drop the tank by removing the straps. It is a big tank so drain as much as possible and disconnect the batter before you start.
Yes the fuel tank has to come out to replace the fuel pump.Easier if tank is 1/4 tank or lower. Before doing this make sure that your getting power to the fuel pump.If not check the fuses and the connector for the fuel pump. You can check for power with a test light. It will be the gray wire.Light should come on when the key is turned on.Will only stay on for 2 or 3 seconds unless you crank it.Hope this helps.Good luck.
depends on the type of fuel injection on the motor... on the CSEFI injector
assembly the regulator is located under the air intake plenum on the back of the
