Question about 1998 Land Rover Range Rover
2002 HYUNDAI SONATA. KEY FOBS WILL UNLOCK ALL DOORS, BUT WILL NOT LOCK THEM. HAD BATTERY REPLACED IN FOB AND ALSO NEW CAR BATTERY. MAKES A CLICK SOUND WHEN LOCK BUTTON IS PUSHED, SO ACTS LIKE IT IS REGISTERING THE COMMAND. IS THERE A WAY TO REPROGRAM IT?
Replace the "lock" relay, found behind the fuse box. You have to stick your head where the gas pedal is, and look at the top end of the back of the fuse panel. There are 2 small square plastic boxes. Unplug them, spray them with electrical cleaning spray, and switch their spots. If everything works, there was some contact problem, if door will now lock but not unlock, one of the relays is bad. Part number "HMC DECO 95225 - 38300".
