It's not wired correctly, one of the lines is supposed to be always hot.

AM FM radio Compact Disc player o.k. for 30 sec after start, then nothing. Fuses o.k.

Maybe a shorted speaker causing the power amplifier inside the radio to shut down or a speaker wire shorted to chassis and last the internal amplifier of the radio cd set faulty by itself... set volume to zero power it off take out the radio cd set; remove the speaker iso plug leaving the power plug only in and power it on if necesary turn again the volume down to zero and wait if it keeps turned on it a speaker problem if it shut itself off again then you go for a repair or a new one

96 toyota camery, radio has no memory, have to find the channel each time i start the car

The radio has two pins for power connection. The one is active only when the carkey has been turned, the other is always live with 12V to keep the radio settings. It sounds like it is only powered by the key dependant power, and not the "always-on" for the radio memory.

Clock and radio will not stay as set on my 2010 terrain when i turn the car off.

Hi!!Check on your owners manual for the location of the radio fuses, there should be two, one that is hot at all times which keeps the clock and radio set (which may be the one blown) and the other one for the ignition switch. They should be on the under dash fuse panel.
Good luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Why do I have to set radio code every time I turn key on...1995 Honda Accord

Your radio is fused with two circuits. One circuit provides power when you turn the switch on. The other is a circuit that is on all the time so the clock keeps time, presets for the radio stations, etc... Is there anything else that doesn't work in your car? i.e. dome light, courtesy lights, etc.. anything that would be active without the key being turned on. Recheck your fuses.
Hope this helps.

My CD is stuck and reading no disc how do I get it out without damanaging my system?

Turn the radio off and then disconnect the battery, wait 2 min then reconnect the battery. Turn on the radio and hit eject, that should reset the radio and you have to set the stations and clock. Note: radio must be off before disconnecting the battery, os your going to have to re-enter the radio code to have the radio active again.
Good luck and keep me posted.
