V6? these are famous for head gaskets and cracked heads. the heads will need to come off and checked over for cracks and repair or replacement by a automotive machine shop.

If it's getting fire and fuel would suggest timing issue. Maybe check crank and cam sensors. Getting any check engine light?

check those fuses to make sure they are not burnt out, If all are O.K i hope you did not heat it to much and warp the head or blow head gasket.

I have a 95 lhs which was given too me... it was drove back too ca from tn and messed up when it got here... it will start up but it shakes and dies and blows out white smoke.... would u think it would be...

hi.
white smoke would suggest the head gasket is blown and the smoke and the shaking and dying would be caused by coolant getting into one or more pistons and burning with the petrol.
at the very least you would need to replace the gasket and get the head skimmed.
you would also have to find out if there was an underlying problem that may have caused the gasket to blow in the first place and allow a budget to fix any remaining issues after the gasket has been repaired.

97 mustang overheating and blowing cold air

Get a compression check to find out if you have a bad head gasket, I have a 96 with the 3.8L that had the same problems at first. then it started to blow out antifreeze thru the expansion tank, the head gasket finally blew the rest of the way going down the highway
