The most common problem is the crank pickup going bad.
If you have never changed this sensor do it now....you will have to change it soon anyway.
Not expensive........it causes a lot of problems and fails often.

Do you see a check engine light come on when the car tries to stall?
Hopefully you do....it will help with a quick diagnosis's of the stalling problem.

My car stops when i slow down to take a turn, or on a speed bump

Wow, 1999 car! My guess is weak sparks inside the cylinders. Pull the 1st plug wire and see how weak or powerful is the spark. Check or replace the ignition coil and spark plugs. This also causes the radio to die on you once a while.

Idles roughly, then low when stopped or in park, then dies. Decreasing gas mileage. Slow to accelerate

Sometimes that's caused by a vacuum leak near the manifold area.

Sometimes air in the coolant will cause an idle problem. Air will keep the air temp sensor from sending proper info.
Hope this helps.

Idle Problem when you slow down of come to a stop idle goes low

THis has happened to me in the past. My fix was to clean the throttle body. The problem began after my battery died. The computer was defaulted back to its original settings after replacing the battery. Once I cleaned the throttle body, everything was fine. This happened at about 85,000 miles.
