Radio code i chage the battery and now i have am error code in the radio ...i look every where for the code cant find it .its a honda civic ex 2001

If you have the five digit code, you need to remove the negative battery cable for 1 minute and then put the cable back on. hit the power button on the radio and type in the five digit radio code and you should be good to go.

The exact problem happened to me...

Opposed to a blown fuse, most likely the drained/dead battery caused the radio to "reset" itself. You should have a 5 digit (or 4) code that was provided by the dealer or owner. Most owners write it down somewhere on their owners manual. If not, the dealer can give you the code. Once the code is entered, you back in business!

Call the dealer but you will probably have to remove the radio and get the numbers from the back of the radio for the dealer

you have a grounding problem i would check all grounds and negative wires and if you cant find the problem take it to a shop that runs a o-scope that will find it for sure

The code for the radio needs to be input. the radio must have been disconnected from the battery.
look for the code on a card in the glove box. if no card, then u have to pull the stereo out and get the serial # to the dealership.
