Do you have headlights? on accessory, do you have a 'live' dash display? if not- are your battery connections tight? is the + connected to the + terminal and the - to the -? if not, then there may be a blown main fuse! if you have lights, try turning the key from 'off' to 'accessory' 3 times. this may reset your computer. don't forget, when the battery was replaced, your main and secondary computers lost some data and need to re-program. your key may also need to be 're-set', but if you have lights and dash activity, when on 'accessory', then you may need your main computer re-set at a qualified service facility! ah! for the good old days!
good luck!

The dealers are just telling you thing's it could be , doesn't mean they are just going to replace all of those parts or you need all of them , Doing the diagnostic test procedures associated with the DTC - diagnostic trouble code are were they start . Take it to one an have it diagnosed .

Battery went dead had my keys in it and the key pad was dead so we manually unlocked it with a lockout kit just put a rod in and pulled the lock and got in and jumped it off and it would not start! they...

When you pulled the lock using that lockout kit, you destroyed the ignition switch security circuit. From what you are saying it had a chip embedded in the key and when those are pulled the anti-theft system engages and kills the vehicle from starting. Normally this stops the vehicle from even cranking but in some cases it just kills part of the power circuit. Replace the ignition switch. This assumes your key was covered on one end with a plastic cover essentially hiding that security chip. Now if this is not the case you are going to have to narrow down what is faulting and confirm you have good connections and that the reason the battery died wasn't the voltage regulator going out.

The car sat up awhile. The battery died. We replaced the battery but the car still won't start. Everything comes on. The starter was tested and it was fine. What is the problem?

THERE ARE MANY POSSIBLE CONDITIONS THAT COULD PREVENT YOURCAR FROM STARTING. 1. NUTERAL SAFETY SWITCH IF THE CAR HAS AN AUTOMATICTRANSMISSION. 2. CLUTCH POSITION SWITCH IF THE CAR HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION.3. BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH. MANY NEWER VEHICLES HAVE A SWITCH ON THE BRAKE PEDAL ANDIF THE PEDAL IS NOT DEPRESSED WHILE TRYING TO START THE CAR, THE CAR WON'TSTART. ANOTHER POSSIBLILITY IS THE SECURITY SYSTEM. DOES THE CAR HAVE ASECURITY CHIP IN THE KEY? THESE ARE SOME OF THE MOST COMMON REASONS THAT A CARWON'T START FOR NO APPARENT REASON. HOPE THIS HELPS.
