THANKS RJ!! Geez, I read 10 or more postings on Bimmerfest about resetting the Oil Change service light and most of the responses started with "Try searching before asking next time, there's a posting every other week about this same question." Then they reiterate the instructions that Parnivaljak0 posted, WHICH DON'T WORK for my 2006 BMW 325i. Your instructions worked perfectly. I'll copy your instructions and post them over on Bimmerfest -- with thanks to you. Thanks again, RJ.

Unfortunately, you have to have the service reset tool. Dealers and BMW mechanics have this tool, but i don't know whether they reset for free. i guess it depends on who you take it to.

Hi, i am having a problem locating the oil drain plug for a 2006 325xi BMW. Can you please tell me were the location of the drain plug is, and if i need to take down any shield, from under the car. Thank...

If this is the same thing my uncle had, i do believe there is actually a debris deflection guard on the front of the oil pan, which you would have to remove to access the oil drain plug

Changing headlamps on 2003 bmw 325xi

I am assuming that you have a burned out head light bulb.
1) Open hood.
2) Working in back of headlight assembly, grasp rear of bulb socket (harness connector) and turn counterclockwise 90 degrees. Pull bulb out of headlight assembly.
3) Disconnect harness connector from bulb (gently pry, it's plastic)
4) Installation is reverse of removal. (Do not touch halogen bulb with bare skin-oils from hand will cause bulb to burn out.) Align tabs on bulb base to cutouts on rear of lens assembly. (Note bottom tab is wider than other two) Secure bulb by rotating clockwise 90 degrees.
