Remove the fuel pump relay and disconnect the battery first.
Loosen the hose clamp on the fuel rail a little at a time very carefully, and put a rag over the area if you can, to avoid a squirt of fuel in the eyes.
Wiggle the hose with care and both hands free and the rag over the whole lot to dump the pressure.
There is not much volume there, just a lot of pressure.
Be very careful about clearing the area of any ignition sources and wearing some goggles or a face shield can be a very smart move.

There is a schradder valve on the fuel rail. You can unscrew it and take a key or anything to depress it and it will relieve the fuel...make sure that you don't get sprayed with the fuel.
