I need the firing order for a 1996 olds cutless cierra with a 3100 please

I really needs checking against the spark plugs you have chosen? .045" is about right for most.

go google and type in--- firing order for GM v8 engines -and there will be pages that will show you the firing order and rotation direction of the rotor button

You didn't mention your engine size so here is both engines that your car had for that year. Hope this helps.....

Its on the drivers side of the fuel tank in the rear.

These are engine mounts. Some people call them dog bones.

I would check the cam sensor,and it is most likely the crankshaft sensor,that is the problem.

For 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1 liter V-6 VIN "M" check...

1. Remove air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Drain coolant.
3. Rotate engine forward on 3100 only.
4. Both heater hoses at heater core.
5. Right and left instrument panel sound insulator.
6. Rear compartment heat duct adapter bolt/screws and adapter.
7. Heater outlet duct bolts and duct.
8. Heater core cover.
9. Heater core.

Remove plastic Grill (6 screws)
Remove Turn Signal Light (3 Screws)
This allows you to access the 4 screws that hold in the Headlight. Remove these and then remove the headlight. Once out, then just turn the bulb and remove. Be careful with the plastic clip that holds the bulb to the wiring harness. Since the car is old, the plastic will easily break.

The firing order is ... 1-6-5-4-3-2
