Yukons dont have beds and yes the fuel pump is in the tank that must be removed from the bottom, you will also need the little tools to remove the fuel lines from the fuel pump. They are cheap and can be had at almost any after market parts house, get em

Yes its located in the tak easiest way to replace it is to take bolts out thats holding the bed on and slide bed back and change pump

96tahoe4 door fuel pump removal. the retaining ring is sealed like its spot welded from the factory I'm questioning if the fuel pump has ever been change before.ODOMETER reading is 267000 miles.
The ring that retains the pump in the tank needs to be rotated counterclockwise about 15 - 20 degrees so it will come free. If you are chiseling off any tabs, you may wind up having to replace the entire tank. The tabs locate and lock the retaining ring. See the attached YouTube vehicle.

I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Dam GT 2 door coup, And I need to know the fuze that controls the gas guage is located? and what the number is on the fuze?
The fuel gauge is not fused separately. If the gauge is not working you likely have a defective fuel level sending unit inside the fuel tank.

Need to know location of fuel pump relay on a Mazda mpv 3.0l v6 1997 model
The pump is in the tank. Before you consider dropping the tank. Lift the carpet in the back seat above the tank. The older MPVs had a trap door which would access the pump with out dropping the tank. It is definitely worth a look. I changed mine in half an hour.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1997 Hyundai Accent
The fuel pump is inside of the gas tank.
Check to see if it has a "hatch" located under the rear seat (at least, the 2-door version does). 2001 do but not sure about a 1997 but check for the hatch first. You can access the pump there.
If this year doesn't have an access hatch, then you'll have to take the tank off the car to gain access to the pump.

FUEL PUMP REPAIR
It will almost certainly be inside the gas tank. Pick up a Haynes manual, you'll be glad you did as this is not a simple job. You'll have to drain the fuel tank at least most of the way, lower it, remove the pump sending unit from the top of the tank, replace it and put it all back together.
