Passenger window makes loud noise when rolled down

Have you tried the drivers door "passenger door window switch" and the passenger "door window switch" to try and roll the passenger window up?When you do try to roll it up make sure the vehicle is running as you want the most voltage to the window motor.If both door switches would not roll the window up,try the following.
With the engine running hit the up window switch on the passenger door just as you give the door a HARD FIRM RAP.The window should roll up.It may take a few tries.DO NOT roll the window back down until you have changed or dissembled the window motor for a good cleaning.Also,check for broken wires at the door hinge area on both the drivers and passenger sides,pull each wire firmly looking for a broken wire.

bad passenger door window switch; replace it

Does it roll down when warm. If yes then you might have a faulty up down switch. If the window has stopped rolling down all the time it could be the switch or the window motor.

New switch for the passenger side. The drivers side switch may be wired through the passengers side switch witch will make it not work if the passengers side switch is bad. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.

Sounds like your window is off track. You will have to take door panel off to get to it. Fairly simple to do once you remove the panel.

Either the regulator broke or the window came out of the channel.

if its an manual window spray wd40 down where the window track is your actuator is froze up if you get it rolling up and down and hear like a grinding noise roll it back up youll need a new actuator

replace the switch. They have parts made of plastic pressing on the contacts softing these babies up making them useless in a few years
