idle air control motor failure be carefull this can cause ecm damage if left un treated

Did you clean ECU memory from trouble codes? No? DO it!

A trans overhaul is when the transmission is remove d from the cat and torn down, then all new parts are installed, new seals, clutches and so on, this is a job that takes a couple of days to complete, but yes you can drive it for now if the problem's aren't to severe, u will not make it any worse.

I had the shaking problem too, had the #5 coil replaced and the shaking instantly stopped.

for the 2003 it sounds like maybe the tranny cooler is getting clogged.

Primary ignition fault. Reasons: Bad distributor cap (most likely) or ignition control module/ignition coil.
