2004 Jaguar X-type Clock reset

I don't know where it is; however, my husband and I have purchased 2 cooling fan assemblies for my 2004 Jaguar x-type 3.0 AWD. Neither of them would turn on. We have since been advised by a Jag mechanic that you must have a part called the link lead in order for the fans to work properly. This is a non-admitted (by Jaguar) default in this car. PRESS MODE UNTIL CLOCK 12H OR 24H FLASHES THEN CHOOSE BY PRESSING LEFT BUTTON OR RIGHT THEN TYPE IN THE TIME LIKE A COMPUTER

FULLY PRESS THE BUTTON THAT SAYS MODE AND THE CLOCK WILL FLASH PUT 24HR AND TYPE IN THE TIME THEN PRESS MODE AND WILL RESET

press the mode button continuasly until the clock flashes then put 12h or 24hr then type in the time

is your car a petrol or a diese?l car get someone to get the fault codes from the ecm to help

If you mean the clock that's part of the radio, you need to hold down the menu button for about 5 secs until the hour starts flashing then use the forward/reverse buttons below it to adjust it. Then press the menu button again for minutes and then again to send it back to normal mode.

press the menu button for a few seconds...then it will say adjust clock...then just use the arrows to change clock...simple..even i can do it...

they are pressed bearings take this to an expert at a good shop!

Actully, you need to press and HOLD the "mode" button for a few seconds. It will then display the setting for the speed sensative volume. Press the mode button agian and it will switch to "set clock". You can select a 12 hour (standard) or 24 hour (military) clock. You then use the key pad to enter the time and the AM or PM setting .
