I have a 08 nitro that the cooling fan never comes in causing over heating I've replaced water pump radiator heater core because it was bad the relay seems fine power coming in and out but no fan on

check fuses and coolant temp sensor
the coolant temperature sensor unit ( that is SENSOR not gauge sender unit) sends a report to the ecm to turn on the radiator fan when the temp is reached
If the fan is not coming on then the circuit is broken--sensor, wires ,fuses relay, fan-ecm
all have to be checked out

Why doesn't the A/C blower turn on when needed?

Could be bad switch since you can sometimes wiggle and make work. Also check ballast resistor to fan motor.

My mazda3 04 is overheating when i come to an idle but seems fine when im driving

Sounds like the cooling fan is not working. Check the larger fuses in the fuse block under the hood. They should be labeled or diagramed on the inside of the cover. If the fuses look good than swap the fan relay with another relay in the fuse block that looks the same. If the fan starts working and the system that the other relay controls stops working than replace the relay.

If the relay swap does not work than start the car and turn on the A/C. The fan should one on shortly after the compressor engages. If the fan still does not come on than you can check for power and ground to the fan or ohm check the fan itself to see if there is an open circuit. If you have power and ground and the fan is open than the fan will need to be replaced.

My car runs fine everythiing seems good, just had a new radiator put on it, but when my car sits running for awhile it starts to overheat, then i start to drive and it cools back down?. please help

Check the electric cooling fan. There will be a sensor on the engine to tell it to turn on. The electric motor itself may be defective, and lastly, there will be a fuse to power the motor. Also, if the engine has been running hot, it may have damaged the thermostat. But from your description, that doesn't seem likely. Hope this helps.

No if it is stiff to turn,it is bad, replace it,and make sure there is not a blown fuse on top of the cooling fan being bad.

Coolant fans on a 92 coupe deville

You checked the fuses, that's a good place to start. Usually electric fans are powered up using a relay. It's likely that each fan has it's own individual relay so it's strange that niether fan works. Is the engine overheating? Try turning on the air conditioner after starting the engine. One of the two fans should definitely turn on immediately after switching on the A/C. If so, then the other fan, which would be controled by the temp sensor circuit, might be bad. Before replacing anything you may want to check the temperature sensor is working properly. The relay(s) are probably located in the engine compartment usually near the firewall. Hope this is helpful, if so, please remember to rate my response. Thanks.
