The air suspension control module is diagnosed using Super Star II Tester 418-F045 (007-0041B) or equivalent.
The test connector used to communicate with the air suspension control module is located on the RH side of the luggage compartment.
When the tester is connected, the engine is started and the HOLD/TEST button is latched down, the air suspension control module will respond sending a code 10 to the Super Star II Tester which represents "Diagnostics mode entered." If diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 10 is not displayed, go to Pinpoint Test A.

SOURCE: 2000 mercury grand marquis air conditioning won't work

1st Thing,
Located Someone With a Set Of A/C Gauges 134A Freon,
Make Sure Your A/C System Has Enought Freon In It, There Is a Low Freon Pressure Switch
In The Electrical System, Usually, 50-60 PSIG or Less On The Gauges, Will Indicate Low Freon, When Freon Is Low The Compressor Is Dis-engaged To Prevent Compressor Damage.
1] Low Freon
2] Bad Low Pressure switch
3] Blowen Fuse[s]
4] Electrical Problem[s]
[a] Digital Climate Controlled ?
Climate Control Self Diagnose From Button's On Unit, OEM Manual Explains This,
If Yor Auto Has Digital Climate Control.
5] Bad Compressor DC Coil

Note: Does The Compressor Engage, Click-On When Button Is Pressed, But Getting
Only Warm Air?
Is One Of The Compressor Aluminum Tube's Cold, Be Careful Other Is Really Warm/Hot,
If Cold and or Sweating, Dripping Water [Normal], You Are Blending Hot Air w/Cold
Air At The Heater Blend Box, Making Warm Air.
If This Is So, If A Vaccum Controlled Temp Unit, Check For A Vaccum Hose Bad,
Should Be Either 1or 2 Vaccum Lines Going Into Firewall To Feed The Controller
Unit, If OK, Might Be a Bad Blend Box Diaphram, [Control's A/C air, Blocks Off
heater Coil Hot Air].
If Your Auto Is Vaccum Controlled, Can You Changed From Bottom, Dash,
Defrost Air Flow?, Yes, No Vaccum Lost Feeding Controller, Still Might Have
Bad Diaphram Blending Hot Air w/Cold If Your Have Cold Alum-Tubing In
engine Compartment.
If Digital Climate Controlled, Might have Diaphram's, Vaccum Controlled or
electrical Servo's Controlled vs Diaphram [Vaccum] Controlled.
This Might Help, Hopefully, This Is Just For Starter's, There More To Some System's
and Without The OEM Mgr's Manual[s] You/Be Would Be Lost, especially w/Electrical.
Later, God Bless

SOURCE: When I set the thermostate temperature for heat it

Sounds like your heater core is plugged. I would recommend having your coolant system flushed by a certified garage.

SOURCE: Is it a fair price

That's way to much, here at my repair shop, we charge $550.00 with tax, take it to an indenpened shop for repair's, you will get the same warranty, if not better, and no not a fair price, you could almost buy two fuel pump's with labor if you let the dealer do it.

I have poor air circulation for my 2001 Mercury grand marquis. I only get air from one dash vent. the blower goes up and down but even on high it seems like it is medium

well, if nothing was disconnected on the ducts and the selector works fine , my guess will be that you have a nest in the fan it self, take it out and clean the nest so the fan can blow full amount of air. good luck.

2003 Grand Marquis air suspension vents (deflates) completely at times lately.

You do have a leak and it is one or more of the air suspension springs, I have seen this same scenario dozens of times on Ford products with air suspension.

The air flow system is making a load humming (mooing) sound. I have a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and would like to know what is done to stop the noise and how much does it cost to repair.

The air intake ducting (all the black hose plumbing coming from air cleaner box) may have a loose connection somewhere. Check all clamps and sensors attached.

2004 Mercury Grand Marquis with auto air condition. Blower does not come on AC / Heat still works but no air. I have replaced the blower motor, relay and fan control module but with no luck. Am I missing...

check for fuses. If some other defective stuff that you replaced broke the fuse then you may need to repower the system by replacing the fuse or a relay.

As for the air, do you mean no blower for both heat function and A/C function? An Owners Manual would show location for fuse and relay for blower. A web-search with term like "2004 Mercury Grand Marquis fuse panel or
blower relay location" could help.

Last, do not know if blower resistor relay was known good quality. This part is tempermental. Sometimes takes tap from broom or snowbrush handle to wake it up. Sad part is that after warranty there is little benefit from a used to new part. Should have been a National recall on this part.

My air condition is not blowing air out the vents.

Sparking meaning your socket maybe not secure or lose connection. sometime the carbon brushes in blower worn out and need to change.

Air suspension on my grand marquis comes on with engine off

What is probably going on is the air suspension has a leak so the compressor is breaking down. So it will run at odd times trying to make up for the times it can not run. What you need to do is look for a conversion kit. The conversion will stop all problems that you are having now and you will never have to worry about it again. I would recommend strutmasters.com. They have great prices and there kits are guaranteed to last the life of the car. I posted the link below so you can take a look.

I hope I was of some help

Good Luck!!!
