I had the same thing happen to my Sequoia. They replaced it under warranty when I complained.

How to replace 2007 Kia Sportage sun visor

I forced a small nail between the visor rod and the tube (or whatever) the rod goes into in the visor itself. That created enough tension or drag to hold the visor and keep it from drooping. The visor now works in all three positions.

Sun visor on 2008 Camry broke - on both sides

To be honest, Save your 90.00 and pop it in your self. Sun visors are very easy to change and will take you all of 5 minutes. Most visors are held in place by 2-3 little screws that you will see at the base of the visor and looks like they are screwed into your roof. just take the screws out and the visor will pop right out for you. then just do the opposite to install it. It really is that easy.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

2007 Toyota Camry LE - broken sun visor

most likely a defect. call the dealer and see if toyota has issued a recall on the visor and you might have it replaced for free. other than that, there's always the junkyard.

Sun visor on driver's side won't stay up or all the way down. 2006 Sonata

This works on any visor. Obtain a small clamp as used in wiring harnesses. On the shaft end of the visor, 1/2 inch from the end, install the clamp around the visor and the shaft. Drill a hole through the visor for the clamp screw and tighten as needed. I might be a redneck, but it works!!
