Question about Kia Cars & Trucks
My kia carnival diesel year 2011. The rear passenger aircond blower still on, even if the switch is set to off on both front and rear switch. I have replaced the resistor/resistance at the rear blower fan. I have replaced it twice already. But now prove appear again. Blower fan keep operating even if the switch set to off. I don't know, what need to be done. Help

NO COUNTRY TOLD AT ALL SO MANUALS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET ME. SEE ? WHY POST LACKING COUNTRY. DOWN UNDER?
all else on the car works good, drives ok even at night.
NO RESISTOR CAN DO THAT EVER, IT IS A PASSIVE DEVICE.
THE RESISTOR ONLY LOWERS BLOWER SPEED BELOW HIGH.
period. AND ONLY FRONT BLOWER, (FACTS)
you A have controls problem. not the silly resistor.
yes the blower stops key off and not told but gee, matters huge
not told if all speeds blower fail, like this.
sadly no Canivals here, USA. so I have no manuals to wax smarter.
check all fuses first (Oops ours is SEDONA>
then scan the cars, OBD2 scan port and I bet tells you what is wrong as most cars do 2011.
the HVAC controls turn things on and off, nothing else, can stick it on.
some cars have just a switch there.(not his car)
or climate controls the actual controller is bad ( a transistor driver blown in it)
ok ours is called Kia Sedona (THANKS TO WIKI)
USER OUR 2010 HAD BOTH MANUAL AND AUTO CONROLS
LETS DO, MANUAL FIRST (usa)
THE RESISTOR IS FOR FRONT ONLY SO BARK WRONG TREE THERE.
REAR MODULE TINY A FET TRANSISTOR MODULE IS FOR SURE SHORTED ON MANUAL SYSTEM
NEXT UP ANSWER THE AUTOMATIC SYSTEM
BZZZZZ NO AUTO MATIC HAS A RESISTOR BLOCK
SO IS MANUAL SOLVED YOUR QUESTIONS i DID
THE DEALER HAS THIS PART, NONE SOLD AT ROCKAUTO. HERE
JUST MAKER, KIA
ASK FOR REAR TRANSISTOR FET MODULE AND BINGO
HERE IS IT IS IN ALL ITS GLORY. BELOW.
IF NEW FAILS TO FIX IT THE AC CONTROL MODULE IS KAPUT.
SEE PIN 3 IF IT IS AT ZERO VOLT THEN FET IS SHORTED.
0V OFF OVER 3V ON. GATE. PIN 3.
