Where is the turn signal relay for flasher locate 2006
My left front turn signal. Very rapidly on the dashboard. Outside it will not blink at all. I turn the Park lights on and the left side parking lot which I think is also turn signal light stays a brighter yellow. And after a period of time it burns out. I don't think it's supposed to be on the bright mode all the time, just when the flashers flashing. I want to change either the turn signal relay or the flashers but I don't know where they are can you show me a diagram or help me in any way.

NOT TOLD (vast) if are starts and drives good.
and the cluster Gen/Charge/battery lamp is out engine running:?
if the battery is not charged fully (above 10v) the BCM goes MAD.
the battery is at 11 to 15vdc running or the ALT is dead. (or fuse to it)
IN THE OLDEN DAYS THE FAST FLASH ,TELLS US THE LAMP OR WIREs TO THEM ARE SHORTED (OVERLOADED!)
and on this car means check fuses and scan me now.
On some modern cars even more smarter, the BCM does the same thing and if you scan the PCM and see DTC for lighting errors are
diagnostics trouble codes, (errors) to fix first.
is useless here, no car told at all maker , model and COUNTRY
the newest cars have no lamp fuses at all, nor any relays and no relic flasher modules.
the BCM brain does it all with magic software and current regulators to each and every lamp feed,
even 8 or 12 more feeds,
I guess the hazard flasher switch is bad too.
make sure battery is fully charged,
make sure engine cranks ,starts and runs and drives
make sure GEN lamp is no glowing!!!!!
all fuses good. we test them.
and scan the cars OBD2 scan port,no country told so. I guess this. if savvy tell your country as cars are no the same world wide at all. for sure lighting !!!

Flasher unit is loctaed under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. manual says to remove the lower sound insulating panel and then it is quite accesible. You can get at it without removing the panel, but, from experience, be prepared to leave a lot of skin on sharp metal edges The same flasher is used for both left and right signals, so if it works ok on the left side I don't think the flasher is the problem. If it blinks rapidly on the right side I would suspect a short on the front or rear harness, of if it doesn't blink, and open there. Also there may be a problem with the signal switch itself
sounds like one of light bulbs was malfunctioning and caused the flasher unit to blink rapidly and iy burned out. Replace front and rear turn lite bulbs and see if flasher flashes. if not check fuse and replace fuse. If fuse okay replace flasher unit. Good luck
Good job, and good joe to you for solvin it! Now you'll remember that's a common indicator of a burnt out bulb. For some reason I can't explain, that is how a bad bulb acts on the flasher unit - by more rapid clicking (breaking contact inside the flasher relay at a quicker rate). It seems both the front and rear signal lights have to be working for the normal flasher rate ...well good.
There Is an Electronic Flasher Unit under the dashboard, if you turn on the turn signals and get under the dashboard you will be able to locate it. Unplug the electrical connection from the Flasher Unit and replace it with a new one from your local Auto Parts Store.
you will need to inspect all of the left side blinker bulbs one of the bulbs that is supposed to blink is bad my buddy has a caviler that had the same problem one of the bulbs ended up being bad it was the rear drivers side bulb. there is also a flasher relay locater under the dash that tends to go bad just listen for the ticking and replace the flasher the flasher costs about 8 bucks at you autopart store ask for a flasher relay. i hope this helps.
When 1 is inop and the other rapidly blinks that generally means a bad ground to the front light if you can't find it just attach another ground wire to the bulb socket and see if the light blinks normal.
