You really never need the part number, because you order by 'year make model'. Sometimes they will ask for VIN Number, but not often. Or you go into the dealership parts department and you just ask for one.

wipers should normally work in the run position of the ignition switch. Accessories position is for radios , cig lighter and other items that you need when stationary with the engine off.

go to you tube and type Infinity G35 clock removal &repair , watch the video and it might help you.

Most likely this is the sending unit which you would have to remove your gas tank to replace.  It's actually a common problem with these cars.

I wish I could be of more assistance, but most likely it's the sending unit like I had mentioned above which would need replaced if it is indeed a faulty sending unit that's causing the issue (From research I've done and having a friend with the same car and same problem, it IS most likely the sending unit, but there are other things that could be causing it as well).

 

I hope this helps!  Best of luck to you and your G35!  Beautiful cars!  It's a shame for them to have such an annoying issue.  It may actually be a factory recall or covered by some type of factory warranty.  You may want to call a dealer and inquire a bit.

I have a 2004 G35 Coupe that had the same probelm.

I checked some fuses -- all appeared to be OK. Then tried locking and unlocking the driver-side car door several time, using the key and the car fob.

Presto, the window stared working again.

Caution, I believe there is an issue (at least with the coupe) about raising windows while the door is open and then closing the door.

You probably need the nissan/infiniti factory scan tool, if there is even an option to change it

This is a common problem on the G35. The window regulator/motor have most likely gone bad. I've also seen a case where the switch was the culprit. Try clicking the switch up repeatedly a few times and see if that does the trick.

The pressure is not building in the reverse clutch circuit, sounds like a seal leak on a drum piston or a sealing ring. Try using lubegard trans additive before you pop for a rebuild.
