Idle rpm may b da set to low. Chec the throttlbody. Umay needa tuneup..new coil or plugcables. Buy a shopbook for that model. If its astandard then clutch cud hav issues

If you dont have an ODBII code reader, get an inexpensive $20-$30 one and keep it handy.

i have ford focus ghia 2.0 2002 model and i have problem with the fuel pump sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.. when i fill the tank petrol pores out, the pipe next to the filter also comes out, how do i fix the problem?

I drove through a flood recently and now my ford focus has lost acceleration power in third gear and it sounds like the engine's going to stall before it picks up power

You may have damaged the air flow sensor. If they get wet they stop working.
