if engine (non told) is race too fast sure shift to R will be violent.

scan PCM with OBE2 scan tool ,? usa car?
this car has TCM (tranny-brain)
the problem can be electric or the engine idle failure or bad trans.
we scan it for DTC errors first. there is no guessing we do the tests, always.
if a DTC for transmission speed sensors are dead
how can the TCM brain do any upshift.
it can not.
