Most of the time I find that both headlight bulbs are burned out. Remove the headlamp, open the hood and remove the retainers that hold the front grill/bumper cover to the upper radiator support. The gently pull out on the front bumper cover that goes over the headlamp to release the retainer and cover retainer with tape to avoid scratching the headlamp lens. remove the 3 bolts that hold the headlamp in place 2 at the top and one down at the bottom of the headlamp on the inboard side. Pull out on the outboard bottom part of the headlamp to release the retainer. Disconnect the headlamp bulb ck for power and ground at the headlight bulb connector. Use a test light and ck the red and white wire voltage and the d blue and pnk wires for ground. The high beam is the pink wire.So connect your test light from the pink wire to the red and white wire and turn on the high beam headlights your test light should light if it does then the bulb is burned out.
