Spark plug gap will usually not cause the engine to stall out. This vehicle should be fuel injected. The idle is controlled by the computer. How did you set it up? Have you scanned the computer for trouble codes to point you in the right direction? Check for vacuum leaks.
The plugs screw in on the bottom. You need an extension to reach that far down. Make sure they are gapped correctly. Place the plug on your extension and put it down in the engine.
