well, with all that you have changed the only two possible things that are left PCM and the ECM....

Do you have an alarm system on this vehicle? If you purchased this car second hand it may have something that is inhibiting the engine from firing. From what you have told us here that would be where I would start looking.

I really hope this is helpfull

SOURCE: #5 cylinder misfire

I have a corolla and had #4 cylinder misfire also diagnosed at autozone. After changing the spark plugs, problem persisted, along with the same error code, so they recommended changing the spark plug wires, and that is what fixed it. I would have changed the rotor cap too, but was low on dough. Glad that was not the problem.

It is attached to the fuel pump. Both are located in your fuel tank.

Fuel is metered to the injectors based on a signal from the Engine coolant sensor. When the sensor goes bad usually the engine is slow to start. turn off and it start as normal. A cold engine signal will cause a rich supply causing smoking and misfire when the engine is at operating temperature. The gauge may read right but that does not mean the sensor is sending the right signal to the computer.

Motor turns over normally when i turn the key but will not catch and run

When this happens have a can of spray starting fluid on hand, spray it into the engine air intake, if the engine starts you may have a failing electric fuel pump

1989 mpv mazda does not start on cold mornings and days

I'm assuming the engine cranks with the starter but does not start and run.

check the operation of the cold start injector. This is a separate fuel injector that injects fuel into the intake manifold to help richen up the mixture for cold starts. It operates on a timer that is linked to a sensor that measures engine coolant temperature. Once warm or the timer runs out, the cold start injector is turned off. Other things to check:

Fuel pressure too high (floods engine through cold start injector), engine coolant temp sensor or intake air temp sensor is stuck at full hot (doesn't allow enough fuel for cold starts), fuel injectors are leaking (floods engine with fuel).

When is really cold, and vehicles with non electrical power steering start for the first time after a good period of inactivity the power steering pump tents to wine, that is normal, some other cars or almost all the cars when they pass 100.000 miles develop a little metallic noise that goes away when the oil pump distributes and lubricates all moving parts inside the engine when the car starts first thing in the morning in a really cold morning.

1988 mazda 323 hatchback, 212K miles. Tried to start this morning, no go. Cabin lights and radio came on, ignition switch turns, but no "click-click-click" sound. I think the starter isn't connecting...

I would have the system checked by a starting/charging analyzer. If the draw is 1 or 2 amps and the starter doesn't turn, the starter will have to be replaced to replace the bad solenoid. Also, if the draw is 75 to 125 amps and it doesn't turn, the starter is bad.

Normally, a starter should draw 75 to 125 amps and turn vigorously, assuming the battery connections are ok.

On my 2005 Mazda 6, my engine light is on and the diagnostic code says it's the gas cap..How to I turn the check engine light off

you would need a scan tool to reset it, if it is the gas cap and you fixed the problem with it then the light will go out after 100 miles of driving with a couple of cold starts. if it doesnt go out after a few days of driving then that wasnt the problem.

2001 MAZDA TRIBUTE COLD STARTING PROBLEM

My wifes car had this same problem at about 100000 miles and after many trips to the shop it turned out to be carbor build up in the intake manifold. A fuel injector cleaner was hooked up and it helped the problem, but did not completely solve it. In oreder to get it totally clean the intake had to be removed and clean it out manually.

Mazda 6 dsl when starting car in morning very hard dsl knock.is this normal otherwise runs fine.

Could be alot of things. Biggest one, are you plugging in a block heater? How many miles on vehicle, if there are alot then it is probably ok. however if it is under 30K then you should get it looked at.
