Locating 3 amp fuse to radio which is secondary fuse after main fuse at the fuse block under dash. Followed wiring diagram which indicates fuse should be near or inside radio enclosure.

Hello, the fuse for the lighter is in the IP fuse block marked LTR it is a 20 amp yellow fuse. the ip fuse block is on the passenger side of dash panel

Is there a secondary fusebox which might have the lighting circuit fuses in it.?
If not, it may be that one of the electrical relays has failed.
Have a look at the circuit diagram & see if there's a point where the wiring for brakes, turn-signal & dashboard lights all meet.?

Did you check for voltage at the 50 amp fuse circuit. Even if the fuse is good if no voltage on the fuse circuit, the circuit is still dead. There is a light green wire that carries voltage from headlamp switch to dimmer, is that wire hot with headlamp switch on?

There are wiring diagrams for free, just about everywhere, if you don't have one. Autozone .com has free wiring diagrams on vehicle repair guides link. You have to register your vehicle, year--make--model, all that good stuff. It's free.

1.Turn off the vehicle. Locate the main fuse box.
2.Locate a fuse box that isn't under the dashboard by checking under the hood of the car.
3.Look at the diagram on the inside of the fuse box's cover.
4.Determine if the fuse is blown by looking through the clear plastic casing.
5.Take the blown fuse to an electronics store or a car-parts store.Push the new fuse into the empty slot in the fuse box, making sure that it is in the same direction as the other fuses. It should slide in with a tight fit.Replace the fuse-box cover.
6.Complete the above steps before removing the car radio.Disconnect the car battery under the hood by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal (the black cable) of the battery. Remove the dash area around the car radio.Unscrew the four screws on each corner of the car stereo.Locate the fuse on the back of the car radio.

7.Take the blown fuse to a car-parts store or electronics store to find a replacement fuse. Place the new fuse into the car radio.lide the car radio back into the dash opening. Replace the corner screws followed by the dash trim panels. Put any screws and clips back into place.Reconnect the car battery. Turn the car on, and if the blown fuse was the problem, the radio should work.

I think there should be another fuse for the dash lights and radio and dome (or interior or courtesy it may be designated). Recheck all of those fuses under the dash, I believe one has blown out. This is when a wiring diagram comes in handy-you can see the fuse lay-out, and what circuits each one serves.

There are 3 fuses that go to the radio. They all located in the fuse panel under the left hand side of the dash. Fuse #22 7.5 amp, fuse#18 20 amp and fuse#12 7.5 amp.

The fuse should be in the fuse box under the dash by the steering column. Just find your fuse box and on the fuse box cove will be a diagram of where and what each fuse operates.

Assuming you have checked your wiring to the speakers and they are all intact, you are looking at an amplifier failure.

If you have the inifnity system there is an external amplifier under the passenger seat. You can check it's fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side dash endcap. The fuse holder is an add-on fuse holder to the right of the block (as you look at it), not in the main fuse block.

If the fuse is blown, replace it, but likely it will blow again. The external amps have a very high failure rate and unfortunately are quite pricey.

If you do not have the amplified system, the radio internal amplifier has gone out, and the radio will need to be sent out for repair or replaced.
