IF IT DETECTS SPARK BAD IT CUTS FUEL FAST.
SO NO GAS FIRE NOW.
CRANK AND CAM SENSORS DEAD.
BLOW FUSES LOTS.
THE ECU CUTS FUEL IF INPUT ARE WRONG

1993 Geo tracker fuel injector is not working right. i have to pour fuel into it. any suggestions on what i should do?

Important to know if it's not working at all, or if it is working some, just not enough? If not at all, then you need to check the injector wiring circuit, it's pretty simple really, just a hot wire with key on, and a ground wire that goes into the engine computer. Test with a voltmeter, best practice.

You should probably first check fuel pressure. The injector won't work unless the fuel pressure inside it is at the specified pressure. If the fuel pressure is too low, you have a bad fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. If the fuel pressure is correct, you could have a clogged injector. The best way to clean that is with the injector off the engine.

Hi i got a gwm 2.8 TD not starting.check all fuses.tested injector pulse with diode test light and no pulse found.tested ecu with another gwm 2.8 and is starting with my ecu.

Not sure what a diode test light is, but I would check with a DC voltmeter for a 12 volt pulse. The pulse is very short in duration, so you might not see it. Check for spark at the spark plugs. If fuel pump is bad, you won't have fuel pressure. There are numerous reasons for an engine not starting.

2011 swift 1.5 no injector pulse no spark

blown fuse. ; is first, as per always.
2nd is scan it, did you scan it yet? that is always 2nd.
all efi engines, all ECU , all cut injectors for (noid lamp test dead?)
you said pulse, does that mean fuel pulse or electronic pulse to injector coil..... ? all injectors dead. or just 1. same for spark.
toss coin land, noid dead. all noids
loss of. NOID signals.!
1; spark
2: lose of CMP or CKP signals (cam or crank senders)
3: ecu sees wide open throttle it cuts fuel 100%
4: ecu bad, is CEL lamp dead key on? scan it.

Injector not fireing

you have a TBI 8valve engine. just like my 91
the injector , not firing, so by guy method.
1: it dont click? (sonic ,stethoscope)
2: the noid dont flash. (use a noid lamp and win)
3: it dont squirte, watching it with eyes, cranking,

if the noid fails, that means ECU is bad or one of 3 inputs to ECU are dead.
if noid works, that means, the injector is cogged, it has 10 micron screens that are easy to clean. or there is no 35 PSI fuel pressure.

here is the page just for that.
  1. THE ECU IS PROGRAMMED to cut fuel if there is no spark preventing TV like crashes and burns. (and other fire reasons)
  2. the tests are all easy. no order but #1 is #1
  3. fuel pressure at spec.
  4. injector coil reads 1.0 OHMS.
  5. injector clean. (there is only one, so all hope is just here)
  6. noid lamp fails , so is CMP dead? or TPS TP pin stuck high or , ecu throwing code 41./42s errors, BINGO!

Jaguar xj sport 3.2 no spark or injector pulse

If ECU has crank signal and engine turns over, ECU should give injectors a pulse and trigger the ignition. If not ECU might be bad. You should check power and grounds going to ECU. There are usually multiple power and grounds going into ECU

07 caliber 2 injectors stay on 2 stay off no ground pulse have everything else

Cell phone?
stay on = stuck? (injects full time?)
MPI, most MPI cars are PNP, Plus, neg. Plus fired.
that is all injectors on one side are 12v key on(power bus)
then the ECU fires each injector by a pulled ground (a transistor does that)
if the ground pulse is missing
then"
1: the injector coil open (burned open , infinity ohms)
2: or the ecu driver is dead.
use and ohm meter (resistance ) DMM and measure the coil on all
4 ,they will all read the same , many are 10ohms
0 ohms shorted, way different burned up, Infinity, burned totally up.

2004 Chevy HD 2500 ext cab v-8 vortec 6.0 liter 2 wheel drive. Let's see tons of problems misfire on cylinder 5 replaced coil(the issue), still runs like a beatin dog with one leg trying to chase the...

The sensor for the crankshaft position may be loose or misaligned. You may have a rust spot on the crankshaft interferring with the ability to pick up the #5 position.

Check out your alternator as stray electrical voltage will interfere with the pulses needed to fire individual plugs. Try WD40 on the wires to the coils(plugs) as stray voltage may jump to another plug.

You fixed what you identified, but how about injector pulses? Could easily misfire and give same effect as sparkmiss. You may need to get loaner tools from Autozone or others to test injectors with the lightbulb you insert in the injector harness.

I hope my solution is helpful.

I have a 2002 Toyota Hilux with a 5LE engine. The vehicle has no power at all. I have replaaced the injector pump, injectors, ECU, throttle position sensor, throttle body and yet there is still no...

First thought is ignition being way off - the ignition system usually gets the crankshaft position from a proximity switch (crank position sensor) and calculates ignition timing from this pulse. When this switch gives faulty pulses everything is off. Check connector and cable and if possible test it.
